Wall Street English (WSE), the premier provider of English language instruction, is embarking on an aggressive expansion path in Thailand and several markets of Indochina. A bold expansion initiative, aimed at opening ten new language centers in Thailand as well as numerous centers in Indochina, is to be realized within five years with business worth three billion baht.

The expansion push, which was announced during the launch of a new Wall Street English language center at Central Plaza Westgate shopping plaza and complex in Bang Yai, Nonthaburi, is to support the need for adequate proficiency in English language of young people studying or pursuing a career in the ASEAN economic community.

Young people will have greater access to Wall Street English’s unique method of learning English, according to Wall Street English Thailand’s Chairman Matthew Kichodhan. “With better English skills, Thais will have better opportunities for themselves and bring greater benefits for economic advancement of the country,” he noted.

Backed up by Pearson PLC, the London-based British multinational education company and the world’s leading provider of learning for well over a century, Wall Street English adopts a “lifestyle edutainment” approach to teaching that is distinctly engaging and entertaining. “It is the most effective way to learn a language or improve language skills,” Mr. Kichodhan said.

Dedicated to helping people make more of their lives through learning and true to its positioning strategy “We Teach, We Care”, Wall Street English not only teaches but cares for the success of students, Mr. Marc Nussaume, CEO of WSE Thailand commented. “No one follows the students’ progress of learning the way we do. A unique learning progress tracking system gives us the edge to help students achieve their potential for acquiring English skills,” he said.

Mr. Nussaume added that the proprietary and highly effective MultiMethod® blended learning model of WSE offers programs that are customized to meet individual needs of each learner, from beginners to corporate business level. “This allows students to learn at their own pace. And with the aid of modern learning materials and tools, WSE creates a new learning experience to really succeed in learning English and improving proficiency. A proficient level of English is a must for career people striving for success in an ever increasingly competitive market arising from ongoing integration of the ASEAN economic community,” he said.

Furthermore, Wall Street English is offering a call center service, the first among all language institutes in the country, to facilitate the needs of its students of the newly opened WSE center at Central Plaza Westgate and others located in Thailand. “Such a facility will add convenience for the growing number of our students. The newly opened WSE center at Central Plaza Westgate is expected to attract a large number of students as it’s located in the fast-growing commercial and residential hub of west Bangkok,“ Ms. Pamanee Lefevre, Marketing Director of WSE Thailand, said.

The language center at Central Plaza Westgate is the tenth center launched this year by WSE which aims to expand to a total of 20. The company generated 700 million Baht in revenue in 2015.

Wall Street English is Thailand’s leading provider of English language instruction commanding 35% of the market, with 13% held by its closest competitor.
